Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of the Happispace mobile app, published by Soulshare. By downloading, opening or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don’t use Happispace.
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. Who can use Happispace
You must be at least 13 years old to use Happispace. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the app you confirm you meet these requirements and that you are not barred from using it under any applicable law.
2. Your account
- You need an account to save and sync your notes. You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us at happiness.soulshare.space@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You may not share your account, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
3. Your content
“Your content” means the notes, replies and any other material you create in Happispace.
- You keep ownership of your content. These Terms don’t transfer it to us.
- You grant us a licence to run the service. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content for the purpose of operating and improving Happispace. If you share a note to the Soulshare Jar, that licence includes showing it to other users anonymously.
- Shared notes are shown without your name attached, but they are still visible to other people. Please don’t put anything in a shared note that identifies you or someone else, or that you would not want a stranger to read.
- You are responsible for your content. You confirm you have the rights to post it and that it does not break these Terms or any law.
- Deleting a note removes it from the app. Copies may persist in backups for a limited period, and notes already shown to other users cannot always be recalled.
4. Community rules
Happispace exists to be a kind place. You agree not to post, share or send content that includes:
- Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment.
- Violence, threats, or content encouraging harm.
- Explicit, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate material.
- False or misleading information.
- Anything that violates the rights of others, including copyright or intellectual property laws.
- Spam, advertising, chain messages, or attempts to solicit other users.
- Personal information about another person shared without their consent.
You also agree not to:
- Attempt to identify, contact or track other users behind their anonymity.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the app or its infrastructure, or try to access parts of it you are not authorised to use.
- Use the app to build a competing product, or resell any part of it.
5. Moderation and enforcement
- We monitor content automatically and manually to detect and remove objectionable material.
- You can report content or block another user from within the app. We aim to review reported content and act on it within 24 hours.
- We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or permanently ban an account that breaks these Terms. Repeat offenders may be permanently banned.
- We are not obliged to keep or provide copies of removed content.
6. Happispace is not a health service
Happispace is a gratitude and journalling app intended for general wellbeing and enjoyment. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic or crisis advice. Nothing in the app is a substitute for professional care.
If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or believe you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately — do not rely on Happispace.
Notes shown to you in the Soulshare Jar are written by other users. We do not endorse, verify or take responsibility for their contents.
7. Happispace Premium
- Happispace is free to use with basic features. Premium unlocks additional features and is offered as an auto-renewing subscription.
- The price and billing period are shown in the app and on the App Store before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account on confirmation.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › your Apple ID › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for, after which your account reverts to the free version.
- Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are subject to Apple’s policies and are requested through Apple, not through us. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- We may change subscription prices or what Premium includes. Price changes will not apply to a period you have already paid for, and we will give you notice as required by the App Store.
8. Our intellectual property
Happispace, including its software, design, illustrations, and name and logo, belongs to Soulshare and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms. You get no other rights.
9. Changes to the app
We are actively developing Happispace and may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time. We may also stop offering the app altogether. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you and, where required, offer an appropriate remedy.
10. Ending these Terms
- You can stop using Happispace at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting happiness.soulshare.space@gmail.com.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the app.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 3, 6, 8, 11, 12 and 13 — continue to apply afterwards.
11. Disclaimers
Happispace is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that any content will be accurate, appropriate or suitable for you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soulshare will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — Happispace.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 50.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Soulshare against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the app, or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else’s rights.
14. Apple
These Terms are between you and Soulshare only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Happispace or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the app or to legal requirements. We will post the updated version here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable notice in the app. Continuing to use Happispace after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
